Packing Based on the Confirmed Order Specification
Padlock packing must protect the product while keeping keys, labels, quantities and model information correctly organized. A packing error can cause key mix-ups, incorrect SKU identification, carton shortages or unnecessary damage during international transportation.
Raviron prepares packing according to the confirmed product specification, approved packaging sample and shipping requirements. Support can include individual bags, inner boxes, blister packs, color boxes, labels, inner cartons and export cartons, depending on the padlock model and buyer’s distribution channel.
This service is intended for importers, hardware wholesalers, security distributors and private-label buyers purchasing repeat or project-based bulk orders.
Product and Key Pairing Before Packing
Keyed padlocks must remain paired with the correct keys throughout packing. The required number of keys per lock, key ring arrangement and any KD, KA or grouped-key identification method should be confirmed before production.
Finished padlocks normally proceed to packing after appearance and Lock Function Testing. Packing staff verify the product model, finish, key quantity and required accessories before placing the lock into its individual packaging.
For grouped keyed-alike programs, clear batch separation is particularly important. The buyer should specify whether each group needs a code, label, inner box or carton identification mark.
Retail and Private Label Packaging
Packaging options depend on the product weight, shackle dimensions, sales channel and destination market. Common arrangements include:
- Polybags or protective sleeves for simple wholesale packing.
- White or printed inner boxes for distribution programs.
- Blister packs for visible retail display.
- Custom color boxes for private-label products.
- Barcode, SKU, warning and product-information labels.
- Instruction sheets or inserts where required.
Packaging artwork, dimensions, printing content and barcode data must be supplied or approved by the buyer. Our Custom Packaging process covers artwork confirmation, packing structure, sample review and preparation for bulk production.
Structural packaging changes, special inserts or low-volume printed boxes may affect MOQ, unit cost and lead time. Packaging requirements should therefore be included in the original quotation request rather than added after production begins.
Packing Inspection and Quantity Control
Before cartons are sealed, checks cover padlock model, color, logo, key quantity, labels, accessories and packing orientation. The packing method is compared with the approved sample or confirmed packing instructions.
Inner-box and carton quantities are counted according to the packing list. Where several models, colors or keying groups are included in one order, separate identification helps reduce mixing during packing and warehouse handling.
Barcode readability, label position and carton markings should be checked against the buyer’s confirmed files. Buyers are responsible for providing accurate barcode numbers, product wording and market-specific labeling instructions.
Export Cartons and Product Protection
Export cartons are selected according to the packed product dimensions, gross weight and transportation method. Because padlocks are compact and relatively heavy, carton size and quantity must be balanced to avoid excessive carton weight.
Protective materials, inner-carton arrangements or dividers may be used where necessary to reduce movement and surface contact. Cartons are sealed and marked according to the confirmed shipping instructions. Palletization can be reviewed based on order volume, destination and freight requirements.
Shipment Documents and Final Preparation
Before dispatch, the order is checked against the packing list and agreed shipment arrangement. Carton quantity, net weight, gross weight, carton dimensions and shipping marks are prepared for export coordination.
We support EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP arrangements according to the destination, order size and agreed terms. The available method and cost must be confirmed for each shipment.
For an accurate packing and freight proposal, provide the padlock model, quantity per style, individual packaging type, inner and outer carton requirements, labels, barcodes, shipping marks, destination country and preferred trade term. Final packing details should be approved before bulk packing begins.
