Padlock Manufacturing in Pujiang, China
Raviron Padlocks is a China-based padlock manufacturer established in 2010 in Pujiang County, Jinhua, Zhejiang. The factory supports importers, hardware wholesalers, security distributors and private label brands purchasing standard or customized padlocks in bulk.
The production site covers approximately 19,600 m², with around 180–250 employees supporting component processing, assembly, inspection, packing and warehouse operations. Actual staffing and line arrangements may change according to product type and confirmed order schedules.
Our role is not limited to supplying finished locks. We help buyers confirm specifications, develop samples, organize production and prepare orders according to approved product and packaging requirements.
Production Areas and Order Flow
Padlock production involves several connected areas rather than one assembly operation. Depending on the selected model, work may include material preparation, body machining or stamping, shackle forming, drilling, polishing, surface treatment, cylinder preparation, assembly, key matching and finished-lock testing.
The factory operates approximately 6–8 production lines across different processing and assembly activities. Line planning depends on the padlock structure, order quantity, finish, keying arrangement and delivery requirement.
Buyers who need more process details can review our padlock manufacturing process and the separate page covering padlock body machining and stamping.
Products Supported by the Factory
Production covers smart, alarm, brass, combination, aluminum, laminated steel, disc, iron and long-shackle padlocks. These products have different material, machining, assembly and inspection requirements, so quotations are prepared against the actual model rather than a general factory price.
Common project variables include:
- Lock body material, width and thickness
- Shackle material, diameter and internal clearance
- Cylinder structure and keying arrangement
- Color, plating, coating or polished finish
- Logo position and application method
- Retail packaging, labels and export cartons
Structural changes and special functional requirements must be reviewed before confirming feasibility, tooling, MOQ or lead time.
OEM Sampling and Production Preparation
For an OEM project, we first confirm the model, dimensions, material, shackle specification, keying requirement, finish, logo, quantity and packaging. Drawings, product photos or reference samples help reduce specification errors, but measurable details are still required before production.
Custom samples normally take around 7–15 days, depending on the lock structure, branding, finish and packaging. The approved sample and confirmed specification become references for component processing, assembly, inspection and packing.
Standard models generally start at approximately 500–1,000 pieces per style. OEM and private label orders often require approximately 1,000–3,000 pieces, depending on the customization involved. Buyers requiring product development can review our sample development process.
Factory Quality Control
Inspection begins before final packing. Checks may cover incoming materials, component dimensions, cylinder and shackle fit, key insertion and rotation, key matching, locking and release operation, surface appearance and packing accuracy.
Inspection requirements should be agreed before production when a buyer needs specific sampling levels, corrosion-resistance testing, third-party inspection or market-specific verification. Finished locks are checked against the confirmed specification and approved sample before shipment preparation. More detail is available on our lock function testing page.
Information Required for a Factory Quotation
For an accurate quotation, please provide the padlock type, body dimensions, material, shackle diameter and clearance, keying arrangement, order quantity, logo requirements, packaging format and destination country.
Standard bulk production normally takes around 25–35 days after order details are confirmed. More complex OEM projects may require approximately 35–45 days after sample approval. Final timing depends on materials, finish, quantity, packaging and the production schedule at the time of order confirmation.
